  • Oversee mobile equipment parts inventory and cost controls.
  • Supervise log yard and mobile shop employees.
  • Ensure compliance with Ministry of Environment and Worksafe BC regulations.
  • Oversee site and environmental compliance programs.

A day in the life of the Logyard/Mobile Equipment Supervisor Includes:
  • Supervise and provide leadership in safety, quality, cost, delivery and employee engagement
  • Ensure the Canfor Operating System (COS) is being followed with the emphasis on abnormality response
  • Ensure the safe and efficient handling and storage of log inventory
  • Manage the log quality program
  • Ensure effective scaling practices and weigh scale practices are maintained
  • Ensure an adequate log diet is provided to the mill on an on-going basis
  • Ensure log yard and waste yards are maintained as per the Environment Management System
  • Responsible for mobile equipment parts inventory and departmental cost controls
  • Supervise log yard and mobile shop employees
  • Ensure that we are in compliance with Ministry of Environment as well as Worksafe BC regulations
  • Oversee site and environmental compliance program


For this role you'll come equipped with:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum (5) year forest industry experience
  • Good knowledge of computer applications (ie. Microsoft Office)

The salary range for this position is: $79,450.00-$113,500.00
