Logistics Engineer CTSC

Summary:
Advanced Technology Systems Company (ATSC) is seeking a Logistics Engineer to join our growing team in Gilbert, AZ. The Logistics Engineer is responsible for integrating and managing logistics support functions across geographically separated operations. This includes field engineering support, spares provisioning, maintenance coordination, warranty management, training coordination, and lifecycle sustainment planning. The role supports reliability analysis, logistics system development, and end-to-end sustainment activities across ATSC programs.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Lead logistics planning, sustainment strategy development, and logistics related risk management activities.
• Develop, evaluate, and manage logistics related program risks and mitigation strategies.
• Manage logistics operations for CONUS and OCONUS locations, including transportation, equipment, supplies, and field support.
• Lead spares provisioning efforts, determine and maintain appropriate levels of spares, and manage field repairs and return processes.
• Maintain field reliability records, logistics databases, and asset tracking systems.
• Manage Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE), ensuring proper control, documentation, and reporting.
• Administer vendor and prime contractor field repairs and returns in accordance with contract terms and warranty provisions.
• Develop Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) metrics and predictions.
• Coordinate and support Field Service Representatives (FSRs), including deployment planning, communication, training, tooling, safety, compensation procedures, and OCONUS support requirements.
• Ensure on-time delivery of logistics support including vehicles, equipment, supplies, and transportation.
• Prepare scheduled logistics reports, documentation, and project metrics; support implementation of logistics procedures across programs.
• Maintain maintenance and operational records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with program and quality requirements.
• Ensure proper documentation of all inbound and outbound shipments and project materials.
• Assist in the planning, development, and execution of comprehensive logistics program plans.
• Provide regular updates to the Project Manager, PMO staff, and company leadership.
• Support system architecture development by identifying logistics considerations and sustainment requirements.
• Define logistics requirements for new system development and ensure alignment with lifecycle sustainment planning.
• Perform logistics engineering analyses to support system design, production, deployment, and sustainment.
• Conduct Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analysis and modeling.
• Perform Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of logistics experience, including 7+ years working with CLS/ILSS systems.
• Experience in overseas logistics management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Valid U.S. passport and current U.S. driver's license.
• If prior U.S. military, must have received an honorable discharge.
• Ability to pass a detailed background investigation and qualify for a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 25%, including potential travel to austere, hostile, or remote environments.
• U.S. citizenship required.
