Litigation Associate
The Dallas office of Cozen O'Connor seeks a litigation attorney with at least three years of experience. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and a team player with extensive experience in all facets of commercial litigation. The attorney will manage a broad range of commercial litigation matters, including insurance defense, personal injury, and business disputes. Must demonstrate hands-on experience throughout all phases of litigation, including conducting legal research, drafting briefs, attending hearings and mediations, responding to, and objecting to discovery, and taking or defending depositions. A working knowledge of litigation reporting for insurance clients is preferred. Excellent writing and analytical skills and academic credentials are required. Must have a license in good standing in Texas.
This position offers candidates the opportunity to perform substantive and sophisticated work on a variety of matters including transportation and hospitality law, worksite accidents involving serious injury and fatalities, professional liability defense, products liability defense, business disputes, and construction defect matters.
