Job Description

Quevera is seeking a highly skilled Linux Cloud Systems Administrator with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to support mission-critical programs in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. In this role, you will support the onboarding of Defense Industrial Base (DIB) partners by administering secure Linux and cloud environments that enable critical enterprise services.

Working alongside a collaborative engineering team, you will perform Linux system administration, support cloud infrastructure deployments, automate system management, and maintain containerized environments using modern DevOps tools. You'll help ensure secure, reliable, and scalable systems that support customer onboarding and mission success.

As a Linux Cloud Systems Administrator, you'll have the opportunity to expand your expertise in Linux administration, cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, and container orchestration while supporting impactful national security initiatives.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support the onboarding of Defense Industrial Base (DIB) partners by maintaining secure Linux and cloud environments.
  • Perform Linux system administration, including remote administration using SSH, software installation, system configuration, and routine maintenance.
  • Install and maintain Linux software packages using RPM and YUM.
  • Monitor Linux systems and gather operational status to ensure system health and availability.
  • Deploy, configure, and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Manage Kubernetes deployments utilizing Helm charts.
  • Automate infrastructure configuration and deployment using Ansible.
  • Assist with provisioning and maintaining cloud infrastructure using CloudFormation and Terraform.
  • Configure and support Traefik within containerized environments.
  • Troubleshoot system, infrastructure, and deployment issues to maintain reliable operations.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments.

  • Experience with WandS.
  • Experience with eVo.
  • Experience with CoDE.
  • Experience supporting Linux server administration.
  • Experience using SSH to remotely administer Linux systems.
  • Experience installing and maintaining Linux software using RPM and YUM.
  • Experience with Docker.
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Experience managing Kubernetes deployments using Helm charts.
  • Experience with Ansible.
  • Knowledge of CloudFormation.
