Position Summary

We are seeking a highly capable leader to serve as the North America fulfillment expert for lighting-focused and other non-core energy conservation measure (ECM) projects across the business. This role will primarily focus on lighting and will also require working knowledge of other non-core ECMs such as building envelope, water, transformers, and related energy-saving measures.

This is not a direct project management role. Instead, this individual will act as a strategic and operational fulfillment leader who supports regional teams in delivering projects successfully, consistently, and safely. The role will partner closely with regional teams, development, preconstruction, fulfillment, and field project managers to improve project outcomes, reduce process waste, develop standard work, strengthen contractor engagement, and support execution across both turnkey and deconstructed delivery models.

The ideal candidate brings deep lighting experience, strong field credibility, a practical understanding of project logistics and construction support, and the ability to influence execution across North America through both in-person and remote support.
What you will do
Field and Regional Fulfillment Support
• Serve as the North America fulfillment expert for lighting-focused projects and other non-core ECMs.
• Support regional teams in planning and executing projects, with an emphasis on fulfillment quality, constructability, consistency, safety, and field success.
• Visit large, complex, or at-risk project sites to help identify issues, recommend corrective actions, and support resolution.
• Issue field reports with clear findings, action items, and recommendations.
• Coach and support field project managers to improve execution, communication, safety awareness, and field problem-solving.
• Provide both remote and in-person support to regional teams as project needs require.
• Help regions strengthen fulfillment readiness, execution planning, and field coordination on complex projects.
Project Development and Preconstruction Support
• Partner with development and preconstruction teams to support project planning and execution readiness.
• Assist in development activities for lighting and non-core ECM opportunities.
• Help write and review RFPs for contractors and vendors.
• Participate in contractor walks, scope reviews, and bid leveling activities.
• Support regions in developing clear, complete, and executable scopes of work.
• Provide practical input on project logistics, sequencing, constructability, labor strategy, and delivery approach for large projects.
• Support the logistical solutioning of large and complex projects to improve execution and reduce project risk.
Contractor Network and Relationship Development
• Help regions identify, evaluate, and engage qualified contractors for lighting and non-core ECM work.
• Support the development of a strong contractor network capable of delivering work consistently across North America.
• Assist in assessing contractor qualifications, capabilities, safety record, capacity, and fit for project requirements.
• Build and maintain productive working relationships with contractors and trade partners to improve collaboration, performance, and accountability.
• Support contractor onboarding expectations, scope alignment, and field execution standards.
• Partner with regions to improve contractor selection processes and strengthen market coverage for project delivery needs.
Fulfillment Excellence and Standard Work
• Develop, improve, and implement standard work for the fulfillment side of the business, focused on lighting and non-core ECM delivery.
• Drive consistency in how projects are scoped, handed off, executed, and supported across regions.
• Identify process inefficiencies and opportunities to remove waste from workflows and project delivery practices.
• Help establish repeatable methods, tools, and best practices that improve safety, quality, speed, and scalability.
• Support both turnkey and deconstructed delivery approaches for non-core ECM projects.
• Promote disciplined execution practices that improve project outcomes and reduce fulfillment risk.
Safety and Risk Management
• Promote a strong safety culture in all aspects of project fulfillment and field support.
• Support regions and contractors in maintaining safe work practices and reinforcing jobsite safety expectations.
• Help identify safety risks during site visits, contractor reviews, scope development, and project planning activities.
• Provide field observations and recommendations intended to improve safe execution on active projects.
• Ensure safety considerations are incorporated into fulfillment planning, contractor engagement, logistics reviews, and standard work development.
Tools, Systems, and Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Use technology platforms such as Procore, Snapcount, and other project delivery tools to improve coordination, visibility, and execution.
• Collaborate closely with development, preconstruction, fulfillment, regional operations, and field teams.
• Help bridge strategy and execution by translating project intent into actionable field support and fulfillment practices.
• Promote strong communication and alignment among internal teams, contractors, and regional stakeholders.

What you will bring
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, energy management, business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Significant experience in lighting projects, energy solutions, construction support, fulfillment, or related operational roles.
• Strong working knowledge of lighting systems, retrofit practices, controls coordination considerations, and field execution challenges.
• Working knowledge of additional non-core ECMs such as building envelope, water-related measures, transformers, and similar project types.
• Experience supporting construction or energy project delivery in a multi-site or geographically distributed environment.
• Experience supporting contractor identification, qualification, RFP development, bid leveling, and scope development.
