HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
The LifeSciences Area Sales Director will be responsible for driving the growth of LifeNet Health LifeSciences business, to include primary cells, research tissue and Services, within the assigned geography within the United States market. The Director is responsible for sales performance, management/accountability of the LifeSciences customers, maintaining key relationships with partners, developing, and implementing strategic sales plans and driving sales revenue. Works within a matrixed organization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Business Development: Prospects, targets and develops robust strategic business relationships with top biotechnology and pharmaceutical clients. Utilizes technical expertise to leverage client utilization of company's products and services. Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations
- Account Planning: Creates and implements business plans and sales strategies to execute against high revenue growth imperatives. Documents and maintains customer hierarchy, and account plans in CRM. Develops and reviews overall business plan quarterly and builds pipeline value of 3X of revenue targets to ensure achievement of sales goals. Provides real-time analysis of account activity and immediate communication if there are major deviations. Drives pull through of business from strategic partnerships. Drives lead conversion with quality and speed
- People Leadership: Provides oversight to assigned team by supervising, guiding, and directing employees to be effective team members. Ensures that everyone is equipped with the right skills, tools, and talents necessary for executing their duties. Using the established people processes (performance, development, succession, and career) to ensure that their team's level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards
- Strategic Partnerships: Engages key constituents as thought partners with focus on decision makers to understand clients' work, differentiate the company's brand and tailor value propositions to these critical influencers. Partners with marketing, and various cross-departmental resources to plan and implement strategies that ensure the revenue budget is met and the territory's strategic goals are met. Works with Scientific Partnering and Strategic Accounts, Distribution, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to ensure scientific needs are met and efficient product/service delivery and resolution of order issues
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS)
- 8 years' sales experience in the life science industry; cell products
- 10 years leadership experience managing direct reports
- Valid Driver's License
Key Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Teams; (Excel and PowerPoint, preferred)
- Communication: Effective oral, written and presentation communications skills
- Strategize: Ability to analyze and strategize in order to meet goals
- Analytic Skills: Ability to identify sales opportunities / trends from research analytics and metrics

COMPENSATION
Salary Range: $219,247 - $365,000
Plus Bonus
Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience.
