Full Job Description
Skills and Competencies
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in procurement operations, purchasing, procure-to-pay (P2P), procurement transformation, and global program support across corporate card, travel, contingent workforce, and third-party labor operations within complex global organizations
  • Deep expertise in end-to-end procurement processes, purchasing operations, procurement controls, intake orchestration, catalog management, punchout programs, purchase order optimization, and payment operations
  • Demonstrated success leading global, cross-functional teams and supporting enterprise-wide transformation initiatives through influence, collaboration, and change leadership
  • Proven ability to leverage automation, artificial intelligence, analytics, and digital workflow technologies to improve operational efficiency, compliance, stakeholder experience, and business outcomes
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for executive leadership
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills with experience influencing senior leaders across Finance, Technology, Legal, Human Resources, Risk, and business functions
  • Experience implementing, optimizing, or enhancing enterprise procurement S2P platforms (e.g., Coupa, SAP, Ariba, Oracle, ServiceNow, Zip, Oro or similar solutions) is preferred, particularly within large-scale, global organizations
  • Understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve business processes and drive efficiency through AI-enabled solutions; experience leveraging AI, automation, and digital workflow technologies within procurement operations is a plus

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field required
  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related discipline) preferred

Responsibilities

Lead the enterprise purchasing strategy and operational excellence agenda by driving global process transformation, automation, compliance, and digital innovation across the purchasing lifecycle.
  • Champion enterprise procurement transformation by establishing a forward-looking operating model that simplifies the purchasing experience, accelerates adoption of digital capabilities, and delivers measurable business outcomes across the organization
  • Drive the Supplier Lifecycle Modernization agenda by simplifying how employees engage with third parties while strengthening governance, financial stewardship, and user experience
  • Develop and execute enterprise purchasing channel strategies, including intake, guided buying, catalogs, punchout solutions, and Purchase Order/Blanket Purchase Order optimization to increase automation, self-service, and preferred supplier adoption
  • Serve as a visionary leader for digital transformation by embedding artificial intelligence, automation, and data-driven decision-making across procurement operations to deliver measurable business value
  • Lead global programs supporting corporate card, travel, contingent workforce, and third-party labor operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives, risk requirements, and enterprise policies
  • Partner across Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Technology, Third-Party Risk Management, Accounts Payable, and business functions to improve procurement processes, strengthen controls, and deliver cross-functional transformation initiatives
  • Utilize analytics, market intelligence, and operational metrics to identify opportunities, influence executive decision-making, and continuously improve procurement efficiency, compliance, and supplier experience
  • Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing global team while fostering innovation, change adoption, collaboration, and accountability to achieve strategic procurement objectives and business outcomes

We drive operational excellence, advance digital enablement through automation and AI, and strengthen governance across third-party engagements. For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $135,700.00 - $196,750.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
