Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with cloud computing technologies.
- Experience as a technical instructor or in technical training curriculum development.
- Experience in technical writing or product training.
Preferred qualifications: - Associate or Professional certification in Cloud Architecture.
- Experience creating and managing learning (i.e.labs) by collaborating with highly technical subject matter experts and managers to develop training content and curricula.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform services.
- Familiarity with container orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes) and cloud-native development.
- Familiarity with on-premise, hybrid cloud, or air-gapped environments.
- Knowledge of Agentic AI concepts, on-premises AI/ML infrastructure, and building multi-agent systems.
About the jobLearning Portfolio Managers (LPMs) are responsible for defining the strategy of learning content within a solution area portfolio and prioritizing what learning content is needed to best support our learners based on skilling needs, product strategy, and the latest technology. LPMs make decisions about learning roadmaps and are the north star in helping customer-facing roles know what learning plans best support our enterprise customers.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with technical subject matter experts to design and maintain technical learning paths for personnel responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Google Cloud Distributed Cloud solutions. You will collaborate with and guide technical curriculum developers, who create training materials based on their requirements. Your goal is to balance the deployment and maintenance of learning, while optimizing collaboration and alignment between all learning content producing teams.

Responsibilities - Drive the overall learning roadmap for Google Distributed Cloud solutions, including specifying the requirements and the high-level layouts of training programs, modules, and materials in multiple modalities.
- Conduct needs analysis, define learner personas, and curate training content to educate global audiences on deploying Google Distributed Cloud and AI to their data centers and edge environments.
- Collaborate effectively with Product Management, Technical Curriculum Developers, Learning Experience Designers, Go-to-Market, and other partners to influence decisions and support content development.
- Work closely with the Cloud professional certification team to ensure alignment of learning assets to credentials and certifications.
- Advocate the Google Distributed Cloud learning portfolio in public forums while standardizing best practices and transforming complex technical data into effective training solutions.
