As a learning design consultant at Gallup, you'll partner with subject matter experts, researchers and internal stakeholders to transform Gallup's science, behavioral research and expertise into practical, engaging learning experiences. You'll architect learning programs from the ground up, modernize existing offerings and help shape the future of Gallup's leadership, management, coaching and CliftonStrengths® learning portfolios.

This is a role for an experienced learning designer who enjoys solving complex learning challenges, making strategic instructional design decisions and building scalable programs that drive lasting behavior change.

What You'll Do
  • Design and develop innovative instructor-led, virtual, self-paced and blended learning experiences for leaders, managers, coaches and professionals
  • Partner with Gallup subject matter experts and stakeholders to translate research, behavioral science and business needs into practical, engaging learning solutions
  • Build learning architectures, curriculum strategies and learner journeys that support measurable behavior change and business outcomes
  • Modernize existing learning offerings while creating new programs for emerging audiences and market opportunities
  • Collaborate with writers, editors, designers and learning technology partners to create facilitator guides, participant materials, presentation decks, activities and supporting resources that enable consistent, high-quality delivery
  • Determine the most effective way to deliver core learning across facilitated experiences, digital learning, microlearning and emerging technologies to achieve the desired learner and business outcomes
  • Evaluate learner needs and continuously improve programs based on feedback and performance data
  • Use AI thoughtfully to accelerate learning design workflows while maintaining Gallup's high standards for quality, clarity and effectiveness

What You Need
  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, learning sciences, adult education, organizational development, I/O psychology, educational technology, HR management or a related field required; master's degree preferred
  • At least five years of experience designing instructor-led, virtual and blended learning solutions for leadership, management or professional development in a corporate environment required
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with subject matter experts and stakeholders to architect enterprise learning programs from concept through implementation required
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing facilitator materials, participant resources and learning experiences across multiple delivery modalities required
  • Proficiency using generative AI to accelerate learning design, curriculum development and content strategy required
  • CliftonStrengths coaching knowledge, Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach certification or experience designing strengths-based learning preferred
  • A commitment to working on-site at Gallup's Chicago office at least three days per week required
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. required; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship
