Compensation

The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $61,800.00 - $102,900.00. This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to 5 % or $ , based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives in accordance with the current terms of the incentive program which are subject to change.

Position Details

The Learning and Development Specialist supports the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of skills based learning solutions that help team members build capability and perform effectively. The role focuses on executing learning programs aligned to established frameworks, standards, and business needs, while partnering with senior L&D team members and stakeholders. The Specialist contributes to instructional design, facilitation, and learning operations, gaining experience across the enterprise learning ecosystem while building foundational consulting and facilitation skills.

You will report to the Talent Lead.

This is a hybrid position that is based in Lake Forest 2 days a week.

You Will

  • Supports the design and development of skills-based learning solutions using established instructional design standards and adult learning principles.
  • Develops learning materials such as facilitator guides, participant workbooks, job aids, and performance support tools with guidance from senior L&D partners.
  • Delivers and co-facilitates in-person and virtual learning sessions, adapting delivery techniques to support learner engagement.
  • Assists in translating business and performance needs into practical learning content and activities.
  • Partners with HR, Talent, and business stakeholders to support learning initiatives and gather input on skill development needs.
  • Supports learning projects through defined phases, including needs analysis, design, delivery, evaluation, and updates.
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of learning programs by collecting feedback, supporting evaluations, and updating content as needed.
  • Serves as a learning team resource, providing operational and facilitation support to ensure consistent, high-quality learning experiences.


You Have

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in education, adult learning, instructional design, human resources, organizational development, social sciences, communications, or a related field required
  • 2+ years supporting learning and development programs, including instructional design, content development, and facilitation in virtual or instructor-led settings required
  • Basic understanding of instructional design concepts and adult learning theory.
  • Ability to facilitate or support engaging learning experiences in in-person and virtual settings.
  • Organizational and project coordination skills to support multiple learning initiatives.
  • Willingness to learn consultative and stakeholder partnership skills.
  • Proficiency with learning technologies and standard productivity tools.
  • Strong collaboration skills and openness to feedback and coaching.
