Lean Industrial Engineer

10+ Years experience in Lean Engineering

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Lean Industrial Engineer to fill a 1st Shift opening with a Tier 1 company located near Warsaw, IN. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in Process Engineering and Lean.

Requirements of the Lean Industrial Engineer
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering required
  • 10+ years in automotive process engineering
  • Proven track record in Lean engineering implementation and process optimization
  • Six Sigma / Lean certification required
  • Continuous Improvement and Cost Reduction experience
  • Experience working with robotics / industrial automation equipment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Understanding of automotive customer and their requirements

Responsibilities of the Lean Industrial Engineer
  • Analyze, design, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing tools (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, Kanban, etc.) to streamline operations.
  • Conduct time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis to optimize labor and equipment utilization.
  • Lead or support continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction, productivity, and quality enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain) to ensure alignment on manufacturing strategies.
