The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in Process Engineering and Lean.
Requirements of the Lean Industrial Engineer- Bachelor s degree in Engineering required
- 10+ years in automotive process engineering
- Proven track record in Lean engineering implementation and process optimization
- Six Sigma / Lean certification required
- Continuous Improvement and Cost Reduction experience
- Experience working with robotics / industrial automation equipment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Understanding of automotive customer and their requirements

Responsibilities of the Lean Industrial Engineer- Analyze, design, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing tools (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, Kanban, etc.) to streamline operations.
- Conduct time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis to optimize labor and equipment utilization.
- Lead or support continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction, productivity, and quality enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain) to ensure alignment on manufacturing strategies.
