About the role

We are seeking an experienced Lean/Industrial Manufacturing Engineer to lead process optimization, waste reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles, Industrial Engineering methods, and operational analytics to drive measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, and throughput across our service offerings.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to collaborate across teams to implement solutions that support our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and other methodologies to enhance operational performance.
  • Design, implement, and optimize production workflows, material flows, and plant layouts to minimize waste and reduce lead times.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches for capacity analysis, root cause problem-solving, and performance measurement.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives, Kaizen events, and cross-functional workshops.
  • Develop and maintain standard work documentation, operating procedures, and training materials.
  • Monitor KPIs and provide actionable reports to management with recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, supply chain, and maintenance teams.
  • Conduct ergonomic and safety analysis to reduce risks and optimize human-centered processes.
  • Support new product launches by designing process flows, labor standards, and material handling layouts.
  • Participate in cost evaluation, ROI analysis, and capital project justification for process and productivity improvements.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering, with hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing and process improvement initiatives.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in industrial engineering tools such as AutoCAD similar software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing systems, quality standards, safety protocols, and continuous improvement metrics.
  • Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and statistical analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of material planning and warehouse layout optimization.
  • Strong leadership capability with a track record of successful Lean initiative deployment.
