Full Job Description
Who You Will Work With:

The vacant Leader, Product Admin, Money Movement role will report to the Head, Money Movement, T&O.

What You Will Do:
  • Build an exceptional partnership with the peer Money Movement Business Leader to align on e Transfer product strategy and jointly define and deliver the technology roadmap required to execute that strategy.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire high-performing technology and operations teams, fostering accountability, engineering excellence, and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Define and execute the end-to-end technology and operations strategy for Money Movement (e Transfer) product admin domain, aligned with Interac's enterprise strategy and long-term technology roadmap.
  • Own reliability, performance, availability, and resilience of e Transfer Product Admin Services platforms, ensuring 24/7 operational excellence and adherence to strict service level objectives.
  • Drive modernization of e Transfer product administration platforms, including cloud adoption, infrastructure evolution, software engineering practices, and operational tooling.
  • Ensure technology and operational readiness to support evolving e Transfer use cases, increasing transaction volumes, client growth, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders including Product, Architecture, Platforms, Infrastructure, CISO, Risk, Legal, and Compliance to deliver integrated and compliant outcomes.
  • Lead financial and resource planning for the Product Admin Services portfolio, including capacity management, vendor strategy, investment planning, and cost optimization.
  • Drive automation across build, test, deployment, monitoring, and incident management to improve operational efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Establish, mature, and govern operating models including ITSM practices, incident, problem, and change management for e Transfer platforms.
  • Ensure strong security, risk management, and compliance controls across Product Admin Services, aligned with financial services and payments industry standards.


What You Bring:
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Technology Delivery and Operations, with a strong track record of operating large-scale, 24x7, 99.99% available, mission critical platforms.
  • Experience in financial systems and payments ecosystems, including money movement, transaction processing, and regulated financial services environments.
  • Deep expertise in high volume, low latency platforms and distributed system.
  • Demonstrated experience building and operating product administration platforms, including administrative portals, back office systems, user and entitlement management, configuration services, and gateway or orchestration layers.
  • Proven ability to define and communicate a clear technology and operations vision, aligning platform execution with business strategy, client needs, and customer outcomes.
  • Strong background in platform reliability, operational resilience, high availability architecture, and disaster recovery for always on payment systems.
  • Hands on experience modernizing legacy platforms, including adoption of cloud technologies, modern software engineering practices, DevOps, SRE, and automation-first operating models.
  • Solid understanding of security, risk management, and regulatory expectations within payments or broader financial services ecosystems.
  • Proven leadership and people management experience, with a consistent track record of building, developing, and leading high performing, diverse technology and operations teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to drive alignment across product, engineering, operations, risk, security, and executive leadership.
  • A mindset grounded in operational excellence, continuous improvement, and customer centric outcomes.
  • Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full time capacity.
