You will solve the challenge of bridging the gap between AI research and production-grade engineering to ensure reliable, high-scale performance in a fast-paced environment. Success is defined by the technical vision and implementation of scalable AI-driven applications and the underlying infrastructure that supports them.
What Success Looks Like (Objectives):- Design and champion the technical architecture for AI-powered products, ensuring top-tier scalability, reliability, and security across the order orchestration platform
- Drive the technical vision and roadmap by balancing immediate product requirements with long-term infrastructure investments and architectural health
- Establish and enforce engineering best practices for code quality, design patterns, and automated CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-performance deployment
- Architect and build robust pipelines for AI model training, versioning, and monitoring to optimize latency and throughput in real-time production environments
- Proactively address technical debt and architectural risks by identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in distributed microservices
- Mentor and develop engineering talent through a collaborative leadership style that empowers team members and promotes a culture of technical excellence
Skills, Experience and RequirementsCore Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring)- Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical concepts and strategies to both engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders through clear, persuasive communication
- Expert proficiency in major programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java, combined with deep software engineering fundamentals and design patterns
- Critical experience in designing and implementing enterprise-wide solutions using distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms like AWS or OCI
- Advanced knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including practical experience in system design and query optimization for high-volume, real-time data
- Deep understanding of real-time streaming technologies and complex orchestration systems, particularly in e-commerce, logistics, or high-scale transaction environments
- Advanced AI literacy and application expertise used to translate research-level AI innovations into production-scale engineering solutions
Minimum Requirements- Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum Experience: 8+ years of experience in the development and implementation of enterprise-wide Java-based solutions; 5+ years of experience with Microservices architecture
- Required Technical Skills: Must have experience with:
- Java Technologies (Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud)
- Real-time streaming and orchestration (Kafka, AWS Step Functions)
- Distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS, OCI, or Azure)
