Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Process Engineering Manager addresses operational inefficiencies and quality gaps across DISH and OnTech. This role optimizes performance metrics, translates complex operational data into actionable solutions, and establishes strategic direction for process improvement. Additionally, leadership and team development are provided to cultivate a high-performing engineering group that reduces operational costs while upholding quality standards.
What Success Looks Like (Objectives):- Provide strategic leadership to align process engineering initiatives with departmental OKRs and business goals
- Lead the design and implementation of strategic process changes that boost productivity, drive operational efficiency, and lower overall costs
- Direct the evaluation of current operational workflows to generate actionable, cross-functional recommendations for field and central management
- Maintain the engineering processes, internal audits, and periodic process validations
- Leverage AI tools and data analytics to streamline performance metric evaluation and optimize Lean Manufacturing continuous improvement projects
Skills, Experience and RequirementsCore Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring):- Proven track record in mentoring, leading, and developing technical engineering teams
- Advanced expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles, process engineering methodologies, and quality management systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities using statistical inference and data interpretation
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to present complex technical findings to leadership and field operations
- AI literacy and application proficiency to leverage emerging technology in quality control and process automation initiatives
Additional Qualifications:- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
- Certified Quality Manager/Organizational Excellence (CQM/OE) designation
Minimum Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 7+ years of experience in process quality engineering, including at least 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity
- Must have extensive experience with:
- Electronic and mechanical systems and manufacturing practices
- Statistical analysis, mathematical concepts, and variable factor evaluation
- Google Office tools and technical report writing

Salary RangesCompensation: $87,000.00/Year - $118,800.00/Year
