About the Team

The Global Efficiency Operations (GEO) team is a strategic function within OpenText responsible for driving end-to-end revenue process excellence across the company's worldwide Deal Desk and Sales Operations. Operating across all regions - Americas, EMEA, and APJ - GEO leads a portfolio of transformation programs including deal process standardization, AI-enabled workflow automation, CPQ modernization, advanced analytics, and financial modelling tooling.

GEO works at the intersection of Sales, Finance, Operations, and Technology - partnering with regional deal desk managers, sales leadership, finance, and IT to simplify and accelerate the way OpenText does business.

Your Impact

We are looking for a Global Efficiency Operations Analyst (Actual job title: Lead Revenue Operations Analyst) to join the GEO team as a senior individual contributor. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role combining deep financial analysis expertise with hands-on technology delivery capability.

You will bridge business analysis, financial modelling, AI and automation tooling, and process transformation - contributing to both strategic program delivery and day-to-day operational excellence. You will work directly with deal desk managers, sales leadership, finance stakeholders, and technology teams across a fast-moving global organization.

This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, solution-oriented, and equally comfortable diving deep into a complex financial model, building a Power Automate flow, or facilitating a business process design workshop with senior stakeholders.
What the Role Offers
Financial Analysis & Modelling
  • Build and maintain advanced financial models for deal-level cost, pricing, and margin analysis across cloud, on-premise, and professional services transactions.
  • Conduct individual deal financial analysis to support Deal Desk approvals, escalations, and negotiation guidance across all regions.
  • Perform portfolio-level financial analysis - identifying trends in deal profitability, discount patterns, revenue recognition impacts, and margin performance.
  • Support SSP (Standalone Selling Price) banding analysis and compliance validation for complex multi-element deals.
  • Develop and maintain the Cloud Deal Modeler and related pricing tools.

Business Change & Transformation
  • Lead analysis and design activities for GEO transformation program including deal process standardization, CPQ modernization, and AI-enabled approval workflows.
  • Develop detailed business requirements, process designs, and change impact assessments for transformation initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable operational solutions.
  • Contribute to OpenText's Cloud Acceleration Program by identifying process friction points and designing targeted improvements.

AI, Automation & Microsoft Power Platform
  • Design, build, and maintain intelligent automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform - Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio agents, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Develop and operationalize AI agents to automate routine deal desk processes, approval routing, data validation, and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to embed generative AI and agentic workflows into GEO operations, driving measurable efficiency gains.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure Power Platform solutions are secure, governed, and scalable.

Data Analysis & Business Intelligence
  • Build and maintain deal-specific and process-level visibility dashboards in Power BI, providing actionable insights to Deal Desk managers, Sales leadership, and GEO program owners.
  • Analyze deal fallout data, opportunity qualification metrics, and order management KPIs to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
  • Support quarterly KPI reviews with accurate, data-driven submissions and trend commentary.
  • Write and maintain Python and/or SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis from SFDC and internal data platforms.

Process Modelling & Business Analysis
  • Document and model end-to-end deal and proposal processes using BPMN 2.0 notation, ensuring clarity for global stakeholders.
  • Conduct structured business analysis for CPQ and sales tooling initiatives - eliciting requirements, assessing gaps, and defining target-state processes.
  • Develop process documentation, SOPs, and training materials to support operational rollout and team capability uplift.

CPQ & Sales Tooling
  • Support configuration, administration, and continuous improvement of CPQ tools and related Salesforce (SFDC) workflows.
  • Analyze quoting volumes, approval cycle times, and CPQ usage metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Liaise with CPQ vendors and internal IT teams to manage system enhancements, testing, and release management.
  • Ensure CPQ outputs align with financial modelling inputs and revenue recognition requirements.

Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Plan, track, and report progress on assigned workstreams within the GEO program portfolio, providing clear status updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Communicate complex analytical findings and process recommendations clearly to audiences at all levels - from Deal Managers to Senior Directors and Finance leadership.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions with cross-functional teams to drive decision-making and alignment.
  • Act as a self-directed contributor - proactively identifying issues, proposing solutions, and driving work to completion with minimal supervision.
