The Portfolio Oversight & Reporting Analyst is a key part of the Manulife Bank Strategy, Governance and Controls team and will work to empower the delivery team through an appropriate balance of business agility and governance. This role will maintain ongoing portfolio analytics and reporting providing the right data and insights to drive outcomes in alignment with the bank’s strategic priorities. The ideal candidate is analytical and passionate about simplifying complex governance structures and driving the resolution of issues and risks critical to initiative success.
Position Responsibilities:
What you’ll do:
Ensure proper visibility on portfolio health in partnership with the delivery organization to drive expected outcomes by:
Reporting on the bank portfolio including, but not limited to, ART (Agile Release Train) spend and portfolio health including identifying trends, accomplishments, and risks at a macro level.
Collecting and analyzing high volumes of diverse portfolio metadata to support cataloguing and linking outcomes against key results.
Ensuring project artifacts and reporting are completed correctly and on time in all applicable reports and tools (e.g. GIA).
Supporting the annual planning process including recommending how to optimize delivery and organize work hypotheses based on the outcomes the business would like to achieve.
Owning the schedule of deliverables and artifacts for annual planning and DOA requirements.
Collaborating with the Finance team to ensure that the portfolio aligns with financial planning for the business.
Being primary point of contact for Segment tools (e.g. GIA, Viva Goals, Planview, etc.).
Developing ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested.
How you’ll do it:
Have an understanding of delivery excellence including the necessary governance procedures and approvals in alignment with Manulife standards and the Outcome Delivery Framework.
Structure problems, analyze data and present complex findings in a clear, concise, and decision-driven manner.
Build relationships across the bank business and with our Segment partners.
Provide an unbiased view of reporting.

Salary range is expected to be between
$70,500.00 CAD - $117,500.00 CAD
