- 10 years of experience in trust and safety, policy, operations and strategy, cybersecurity, or related fields.
- 4 years of experience in people management, leading a team.
- Experience managing regional or global teams and stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functionally, including at the executive level.
- Excellent business judgement, problem solving ability, and attention to detail.

As the Americas Manager for YouTube Creator Policy Experience and Regulatory and Compliance Operations, you will lead the regional execution and localization of YouTube's global trust, safety, and compliance strategies. Being at the intersection of fast-moving content regulations, legal escalations involving YouTube's Community Guidelines, and high-stakes creator escalations, you will manage teams of specialists dedicated to keeping the platform trusted, fair, and safe.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between front-line operations and global strategy alongside your peer regional managers in APAC and EMEA. You will be part of a team responsible for translating emerging online content regulations into robust, localized operational capabilities while simultaneously overseeing end-to-end management of high-profile issues in the legal escalations and creator policy space. As a regional leader, you will provide strong support for your teams, stay ahead of a rapidly evolving creator/platform and regulatory landscape, synthesize complex operational data, and deliver solution-based recommendations to executive stakeholders.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities- Lead, motivate, develop, and set strategic direction for multiple high-performing teams.
- Lead teams in the management of complex, sensitive policy reviews and escalations across all Community Guidelines policies within tight timelines; ensure achievement of business outcomes and objectives across all dimensions.
- Act as a trusted leader and advisor to executive stakeholders with an ability to pivot in a fast moving environment, coordinating decision-making on policy issues in legal and creator escalations across cross-functional groups and leadership.
- Pressure test critical areas that are important for the business, drive clarity, and make clear, strategic recommendations.
- Partner with Legal, Product, Engineering, Creator-facing teams, and YouTube Trust and Safety leadership to deliver on new processes as needed.
