About this role:

The Lead Registered Nurse serves as a clinical leader within the Home Services team, balancing direct patient care with operational and team leadership responsibilities. This individual partners closely with Home Services RN Manager and leadership team to support daily operations, optimize workflow, and ensure exceptional member care delivery.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to anticipate operational needs before they arise. The ideal candidate is solutions-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about fostering a high-performing team environment.

Clinical Care & Member Experience
  • Provide exceptional in-home nursing care for pediatric and adult members, including routine, urgent, and acute care visits.
  • Perform clinical procedures including phlebotomy, vaccinations, IV placement, medication administration, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing.
  • Support urgent same-day clinical needs while maintaining a high standard of member experience.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff during complex visits or challenging clinical situations.
  • Monitor daily patient flow and staffing needs, anticipating challenges and helping implement solutions before care is impacted.

Team Leadership & Operational Support
  • Serve as a day-to-day clinical lead and resource for Home Services RNs.
  • Support daily staffing operations by assisting with schedule management, coverage gaps, and workflow coordination.
  • Partner with Care Coordination to ensure efficient visit scheduling and appropriate resource allocation.
  • Escalate operational concerns proactively and develop actionable solutions to maintain continuity of care.
  • Assist RN Manager with onboarding, continued education, and clinical development of nursing staff.
  • Promote consistency in clinical workflows, documentation standards, and operational processes.
  • Support implementation of new initiatives, programs, and operational improvements with the RN Manager.
  • Assist with management of clinical inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure operational readiness.


Salary: $130,000 - $145,000

Requirements
Required
  • Current NY Registered Nursing License (multi-state license or CT license a plus)
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Emergency Department, Urgent Care, or Critical Care.
  • Minimum 1 year of leadership experience (Charge RN, Clinical RN Lead, Preceptor, or equivalent).
  • Strong IV, phlebotomy, and clinical assessment skills.
  • Ability to work 4 x 10 hr days (Tuesday - Friday).
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Exceptional communication and team coordination skills
