Oracle's Strategic Customer Engineering organization enables Oracle's most strategic customers to successfully plan, acquire, and consume OCI services at scale. Our customers run mission-critical and AI-intensive workloads on Oracle Cloud, and our mission is to ensure customer growth plans are translated into predictable and executable technical outcomes.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex, high-impact technical programs spanning multiple teams and organizations, establishing strategy, scope, milestones, dependencies, resources, and execution plans.
  • Apply deep technical knowledge to identify risks, assess feasibility, manage dependencies, and guide decisions across architecture, security, scalability, reliability, accessibility, and compliance requirements.
  • Lead response to critical technical and security escalations, coordinating cross-functional teams, assessing business and customer risk, removing blockers, and driving mitigation through resolution.
  • Partner with senior leaders, customers, and key stakeholders to align priorities, navigate competing requirements, and ensure programs deliver against broader business and organizational goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, translating complex technical and operational issues into clear recommendations, tradeoffs, and strategic decisions.
  • Drive operational excellence by improving processes, workflows, delivery standards, incident response, change management, and service reliability across the organization.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, productivity benchmarks, and other measures of program performance; use data and insights to identify risks, improve outcomes, and inform leadership decisions.
  • Anticipate program needs and lead planning for resources, funding, timelines, and capacity, adjusting plans as business priorities and requirements evolve.
  • Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies, balancing customer and business needs, technical constraints, cost, benefits, and long-term organizational objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional change from strategy through implementation, building alignment across development, operations, release management, customer success, and other partner organizations.
  • Establish effective program governance and executive communications, ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility into progress, decisions, risks, dependencies, and required actions.
  • Provide technical and program leadership, mentorship, and subject matter expertise while championing continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and best practices across the organization.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working with enterprise cloud platforms, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, networking, distributed systems, or cloud-native technologies.
  • Experience managing operating budgets, project financials, resource planning, or program forecasts.
  • Experience with software development and delivery methodologies such as Agile, SAFe, or related frameworks.
  • Experience leading software development, implementation, or technology transformation programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate complex stakeholder discussions, resolve competing priorities, and build consensus across organizations.
  • Experience driving operational improvements, change management, incident response, risk management, or service reliability initiatives.
  • Relevant project or service management certification such as PMP, CSM, Lean Six Sigma, or ITIL is a plus.
  • Deep expertise leading large-scale, technically complex programs in highly cross-functional environments.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to engage on architecture, security, reliability, scalability, and operational considerations.
  • Demonstrated success managing critical escalations, ambiguity, competing priorities, and complex organizational dependencies.
  • Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries.
  • Strong analytical and business judgment, including experience using KPIs, operational data, cost/benefit analysis, and ROI to guide decisions.
  • Track record of driving process transformation, operational efficiency, and measurable improvements in service or product delivery.
  • Ability to lead through influence, provide strategic direction, and mobilize teams toward shared outcomes without relying on direct authority.


Qualifications

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $116,600 to $264,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
