The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Senior Logistics Management Specialist in support of acquisition phases of assigned systems, programs or major equipment.
Duty 1 - Performs technical and administrative team lead duties over primarily employees on a regular and recurring basis for 25% or more of the time over subordinate positions predominantly classifiable in the General Administrative, Clerical, and Office Services Group at the journey level or higher by identifying, distributing, assigning and balancing workload in accordance with established priorities to ensure timely accomplishment of subordinate work assignments.
Duty 2 - Consistently exercises independent judgment in directing and assigning work amongst employees by using determinative factors such as team members' expertise, experience, competence, workload availability, work priorities and team member functional development.
Duty 3 - Serves as a logistics project lead/manager, conducting organizational and process related studies and analysis of organization, functions, and work processes to improve mission effectiveness, resource allocation and efficiency, functions, and work processes to improve mission effectiveness, and resource allocations.
Duty 4 - Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships.

6. Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations as related to organizational issues. Ability to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution.
7. Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, as well as developing methods and operating procedures as required.
8. Ability to utilize AoP concepts and initiatives to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of an organization.
