Full Job Description
Primoris Energy Services is seeking an experienced Lead HSE Project Coordinator with a strong industrial construction background. This position will support both project operations and HSE functions by coordinating project activities, maintaining compliance, overseeing documentation, supporting field operations, and promoting a strong safety culture across all assigned projects.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and able to positively influence operational discipline and safety performance within the field and project teams.

Job Duties
  • Lead and coordinate daily project and HSE activities to ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support project managers, superintendents, safety personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and clients through effective communication and coordination.
  • Assist with safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, risk identification, and corrective action tracking.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation including schedules, reports, contracts, change orders, meeting minutes, safety records, and compliance documentation.
  • Monitor project deliverables, budgets, expenses, labor tracking, timesheets, and equipment usage.
  • Coordinate onboarding documentation, training records, driver qualification files, and site-specific compliance requirements.
  • Ensure all federal, state, company, and site-specific safety procedures are enforced and maintained.
  • Conduct routine audits and inspections of project files, tools, safety equipment, and field operations.
  • Assist with invoice processing, purchase orders, billing documentation, and project reporting.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, logistics, and field support for project teams as needed.
  • Support training initiatives and assist in communicating safety expectations to field personnel and contractors.
  • Positively influence safety culture and operational discipline across all assigned projects.
  • Communicate effectively with both office and field personnel, including presenting information to large groups when necessary.
  • Identify issues proactively and assist in implementing timely solutions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in project coordination, safety coordination, or industrial construction support roles.
  • Industrial construction experience required.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, safety compliance, and industrial construction practices.
  • OSHA 510 and/or OSHA 500 preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Safety, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Viewpoint Vista, Procore, or similar construction software preferred.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project demands.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Work performed in industrial construction sites and office environments.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, climb ladders, work at elevated heights, and navigate uneven terrain.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, and fall protection equipment when required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary.
  • Must comply with company drug and alcohol policies and pass all required screenings.
