Job Description- Test Execution: Execute daily manual and automated test cases (HIL, SIL, and system-level) exactly as defined by the Lead SW and HW Engineers.
- Hardware Operations: Physically operate robotics platforms and test fixtures. Flash firmware, power cycle devices, and ensure lab equipment is correctly staged for EVT/DVT testing.
- Meticulous Bug Reporting: Identify, isolate, and document system failures. Capture critical data including software logs, core dumps, and physical evidence (photos/videos) of hardware behavior to help engineering teams root-cause issues.
- Feedback Loop: Provide clear, real-time feedback to the SW/HW leads on test execution blockers, or inaccuracies in test documentation.
Key Qualifications- Testing Experience: Prior experience in a QA, technician, or system test role-ideally working with integrated hardware/software products (robotics, IoT, automotive, or consumer electronics).
- Technical Comfort: Comfortable navigating Linux command-line environments, executing Python/Bash scripts, and extracting log files.
- Hands-On Aptitude: Comfortable handling, cabling, and operating physical hardware prototypes and lab test fixtures.
- Detail-Oriented: Highly methodical with strong written communication skills for creating clear, reproducible bug reports
- Collaboration: Proven track record working with cross-functional teams spanning Quality, Facilities, Supply Chain, and EHS.
Preferred Qualifications
- Greenfield Exposure: Direct experience supporting greenfield facility development, equipment installation, commissioning, and operational handover.
- Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of machining, assembly, fabrication, welding, surface treatments, or testing.
- Systems & Data: Familiarity with MES, SCADA, PLM, ERP (SAP), and manufacturing execution data analysis (OEE, Takt, line-balancing).
Mandatory Skills: Embedded System Software Testing.
Experience: 3-5 Years.
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $45,000 to $121,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
