Overall Purpose
Maintain, update, and optimize financial systems to support accurate data management, reliable financial reporting, organizational efficiency, and data integrity.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
System Implementation and Management:Lead the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of financial systems. Ensure systems align with organizational financial processes, reporting needs, and business objectives. Partner with IT and other departments to support seamless integration with enterprise systems.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:Develop and maintain financial reporting frameworks that deliver accurate, timely, and actionable data. Analyze financial information to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Create reports, dashboards, and other tools to support executive decision-making.
Process Improvement:Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and consistency within financial operations. Standardize and automate routine tasks, and develop best practices for financial data management, reporting, and system utilization.
Stakeholder Collaboration:Collaborate with finance, accounting, IT, and other business partners to understand system needs and deliver effective solutions. Serve as a liaison between finance and technical teams. Provide training, support, and guidance to promote effective system use.
Other Duties as Assigned:Perform additional responsibilities as needed, including supporting compliance activities, managing data security requirements, assisting with audits, and providing advanced technical support.
