Lead Engineer Location: Manhattan, NY Salary: $220,000-$245,000Seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to support a large-scale, multi-site design-build program. This role oversees engineering coordination across projects, ensuring alignment with overall program goals and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and manage engineering issues arising from stakeholders, site conditions, and project teams.
- Coordinate subject matter experts and drive issues through to resolution.
- Support and participate in design-builder meetings and work sessions.
- Oversee engineering responses during project execution.
- Attend technical meetings and track/distribute key action items.
- Guide engineering specialists and ensure alignment with program priorities.
- Review design submissions and coordinate multidisciplinary feedback.
- Monitor RFIs and submittals for compliance with project requirements.
- Manage engineering team scope, deliverables, and budget.
Qualifications:Minimum:- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or related field.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in engineering, management, and leadership.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Bluebeam.
Preferred:- Experience with high-rise or complex construction projects.
- Familiarity with public sector or design-build environments.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and team leadership capabilities.
