Job SummaryThe Lead DevOps Engineer will ensure the high availability, performance, monitoring, and incident response for multiple OVHcloud products and services. This role involves supporting the reliability, configuration, and deployment of existing and new products and services. This role will lead several operational processes to ensure they are followed and maintained.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Own the Problem Management Process for the team. Track and implement needed remediations/improvements.
- Recommend and implement Process and Procedure improvements, that are founded on industry standards and best practices (ITIL) and will encourage and provide proper foundations and frameworks that increase team efficiencies.
- Own Change Management activities required to deploy and maintain the infrastructure.
- Provide training for new team members, Improve onboarding process, and act as a mentor for other members of the team.
- Own the observability (monitoring and alerting) systems and configurations, as well as ensure the team is following policy, process, and procedures.
- Work with the team to implement automation that addresses manual tasks done by team.
- Participate in building, installing, and deploying OVHcloud infrastructure, as well as troubleshooting other microservices software applications and other underlying APIs.
- Analyze data and develop metrics for meaningful automated reports to be used by technical and business leaders.
- Write well-documented root cause analyses and recommend official documentation to prevent future critical issues.
- Complete User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new product launches.
Required Qualifications- Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1 year in an SRE, DevOps, programming, or similar position.
- 1 year of experience performing system administration of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
- 1 year of experience performing day-to-day Operational (SRE/DevOps) tasks and working with microservices and multiple APIs.
- 1 year of experience with languages such as Perl, Python, Bash, Go, etc.
- 1 year of experience managing a distributed, highly available, high-traffic infrastructure based on Linux.
- 1 year of experience with maintenance/configuration of monitoring, metrics, and logging infrastructures like Nagios, Grafana, OpenSearch.
- 1 year of experience with open-source configuration management tools, such as Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, etc.
- 1 year of experience with cloud technologies and terminology.
- 1 year of experience with virtualization and container technology.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience with delivering infrastructure using the OVHCloud Atelier tool for provisioning, scheduling and maintenance deployments.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience with OVHCloud billing tool Agora for creating orders for customer subscriptions and billing.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience with supporting and maintaining the proprietary MOZG tool that supports OVHCloud Private Cloud Computing functions.
- Must have minimum of 1 year of experience working OVHCloud with the Baremetal Catalog and Capabilities configurations.
- 1 year of ITIL experience.
