POSITION SUMMARY:COTA's Lead Data Analyst will support the design and development of data integrations and reporting to enhance the accuracy and quality of decision making. Key functions include conducting in-depth data analysis, collaborating with database developers to enhance data collection and storage procedures, and developing and maintaining data integrations and ETL flows.

Moving Every Life Forward.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Leads analyses from requirements gathering or problem statement through deployment or presentation, fully understanding business processes and objectives, underlying data, and relevant factors;
- Independently manages analytics projects and provides regular and clear updates; and,
- Synthesizes complex analyses into clear narratives to facilitate understanding and decision-making.
- Support the design and implementation of integration flows and enhancements, including APIs and/or file-based integrations.
- Work cross-functionally to identify opportunities and build solutions to optimize data processing, improve data quality, identify issues, and reduce failures.
- Gather data from primary or secondary data sources to identify and interpret trends.
- Create robust (advanced and/or statistical) analysis and communicate findings to management to inform business decisions and prioritize information system needs.
- Document processes and maintain data records.
- Adhere to best practices in data analysis and collection.
- Keep abreast of developments and trends in data quality analysis.
- Support Quality Assurance/Quality Control to ensure a quality level that meets COTA's requirements; monitors data systems to ensure data quality.
- Collaborate with other business analysts and project team members across the department and on other projects to share knowledge and experience that can be leveraged for cross-project purposes or for improvement in the data quality process in general.
- Performs other duties as assigned; and
- Regular, predictable and punctual attendance required.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:- Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or related field and minimum of four (4) years of experience in data analysis. An advanced degree in data science, statistics, mathematics or a related field is strongly preferred.
