Full Job Description
LEAD COORDINATOR, CEMENT - RED DEER (RDC)

To assist the Service Line Manager in all job-related coordination activities within the Service Line.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that Trican's core value, "Safe equipment and operations" is the priority in all activities
  • Ensure adherence to Workplace Safety, Environmental, National Safety Code, Trican Well Service Ltd, government, as well as client policies and regulations
  • Work a 5 and 2 schedule while remaining on call
  • Ensure clear communication with Service Line Manager, Sales, Engineering and all Base Locations
  • Ensure customer needs are addressed in a timely manner, job procedures are followed; in addition to appropriate availability of product, equipment, and personnel
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with all bases to ensure resources of the company are utilized and shared on a company-wide basis
  • Work with the Cement Coordinators to organize and schedule personnel while ensuring resources are available and utilized adequately
  • Manage vacation and other requested time off for employees
  • Ensure all applicable paperwork is complete and submitted correctly
  • Work with Operations Lead, Cement regarding all maintenance for mobile equipment while ensuring all required repairs are completed in a timely and precise manner
  • Report operational deficiencies, accidents, and recognized hazards to management
  • Suggest improvement in working conditions, employee safety, policy, procedures, and operational practices
  • Ensure development needs of employee development are identified through collaboration with Operations Lead, Cement and Training Department

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum ten years' experience in Cement Operations
  • Valid Driver's licence
  • High school diploma
  • Extensive technical and practical knowledge of operations, products, company policies, and government regulations
  • Strong strategic leadership and managerial skills
  • Admirable interpersonal skills conveyed in a pleasant and professional manner when interacting with employees, management, and customers
  • Sound analytical and interpretational skills
  • Skilled in applying problem-solving techniques to complications that may arise
