Job Description

Demonstrates proficiency in delivering culturally, ethnically and religiously sensitive care to age specific patient populations. Participates in related continuing education, supports staff development, provides pre-licensure supervision and coordinates the MSW internship program. Assesses, identifies needs in program planning and facilitates program development in collaboration with the Director of the Department. Assesses, identifies and alerts Director of staffing issues simultaneous to participating in their resolution. Works in a lead capacity.

Required Qualifications:
  • Coursework/Training: Completion of 15 contact hours in supervision training as required by California State Board of Behavioral Sciences within 3 months of hire.
  • Upon hire: California Clinical Social Worker License
  • 5 years Direct hospital and/or clinical experience within the last 10 years.
  • Direct clinical experience in a health care environment.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, from an accredited university (CSWE - Council of Social Work Education).

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
