Full Job Description
A career in Internal Audit at National Bank means supporting our partners in risk management to make a real impact on both clients and employees. As a Lead Auditor on the Wealth Management team, you lead audit engagements focused on key risks. You coach your colleagues throughout the work and build trusting relationships with your partners, enabling them to identify innovative solutions to the issues raised.

Your role
  • Understand the processes, governance framework, and best practices within the Wealth Management sector to identify key areas to audit based on risks and emerging issues.
  • Lead and/or carry out audit work on a specific sector or process.
  • Assess internal controls, analyze identified issues, help determine root causes, and support managers in identifying innovative and practical solutions to address those causes.
  • Draft findings and present the results of the work to senior management and the executives responsible for the processes reviewed.
  • Use the artificial intelligence tools available to you to optimize your work at every stage of the audit engagement-from planning to communicating results.

Within the Internal Audit - Wealth Management sector, you are part of a team of 6 colleagues and report to the Senior Director. Prerequisites
  • Bachelor's degree related to the field and 6 years of relevant experience OR a related Master's degree and 5 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of National Bank's Wealth Management sector, the securities industry, or compliance
  • Ability to analyze data, diagnose issues, solve complex problems, and demonstrate innovation
  • Strong ability to simplify and synthesize information
