Full Job Description
Position Summary

This position will be the primary finance business partner to the Labs organization within SPG. In this role, the candidate will be expected to apply conceptual and practical financial expertise to address complex business problems and drive investment decisions for profitable growth. As a key finance business partner, the candidate will anticipate internal and/or external business challenges and actively influence management with critical analysis and sound business advice. This role collaborates with various cross-functional organizations and requires the ability to provide solutions to complex problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborates with business partners to establish portfolio/project financial milestones, targets, and ROI measures.
  • Leads and drives the operating expense and capital budget planning process by engaging with business partners and senior management during financial cycles (quarterly close, QBR, AOP, SR), including ownership of task accuracy and data integrity.
  • Interfaces with senior management in Labs to drive operating expense management and prioritization, improving processes to best allocate opex resources across different programs.
  • Partners with Labs executives on program decisions and execution to meet all financial metrics (budget targets, capital investments, and opex spending).
  • Partners with finance counterparts to drive and implement best practices for financial tools, processes, financial cycles, and analytical tools.
  • Supports management in completing other ad hoc projects and analyses.
  • Completes detailed analysis and commentary for finance and non-finance executives.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
