The Land Agent / Customer Support Agent (CSA) supports Gas Vegetation Management (GVM) programs by serving as the primary point of contact between utility customers, property owners, contractors, and project stakeholders. This role is responsible for customer outreach, property access negotiations, vegetation management support, field inspections, GIS data collection, utility locate-and-mark activities, and project documentation. The CSA helps ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with client, regulatory, and company requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, property owners, contractors, and project stakeholders by conducting outreach, coordinating project communications, obtaining property access and work authorizations, and resolving customer concerns. Support Gas Vegetation Management programs through field inspections, vegetation documentation, utility locate-and-mark activities, GIS data collection, reporting, and project documentation. Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with utility, client, and regulatory requirements, and promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and customer service.

- This position pays between $85,000-90,000 annually and is an exempt position. The specific amount within this range will be influenced by the work location and various factors such as internal equity, professional skills, work experience, and pertinent education or training.

Minimum Requirements: - Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in land services, right-of-way, utilities, forestry, environmental services, customer outreach, vegetation management, or a related field.
- Experience interacting with customers, property owners, public stakeholders, or regulatory agencies.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Experience maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned service territories.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience supporting utility vegetation management programs.
- Experience obtaining landowner permissions and property access agreements.
- Familiarity /experience using ArcGIS Online, ESRI GIS software, GPS systems, or mobile data collection platforms.
- Utility locate-and-mark certification or related Operator Qualification (OQ) experience.
- Knowledge of gas utility operations and vegetation management practices.
- Experience working within PG&E or other electric and gas utility environments.
