Position Overview
  • Provide specialized instruction and individualized support to students with diverse learning, cognitive, and behavioral needs in resource, inclusive, or self-contained classroom settings.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), monitor student progress, maintain required documentation, and manage caseloads.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, paraprofessionals, and families to support student success and ensure effective implementation of accommodations and interventions.
  • Foster a structured, inclusive learning environment that promotes academic growth, positive behavior, and student engagement.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
  • Active Arizona Special Education Certification (Elementary K-5 or Secondary 6-12)
  • Active Arizona Content Area or Generalist Certification for the applicable grade level
  • Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience providing special education instruction, case management, and student support preferred
