The Team You'll Work WithYou will be joining our North America Contracts team (US and Canada). Carta Law is the largest AI-native law firm for private capital, born from the combination of Avantia Law and Carta. Our lawyers and paralegals work alongside embedded AI agents to deliver investor onboarding, transaction KYC, and high-volume legal work with a speed and consistency that traditional law firms simply can't match. As a Junior Paralegal, you will rotate across or specialise within one of three practice areas depending on your strengths and interests.

- Support lawyers with first-round markups of investment-related NDAs and commercial contracts
- Manage document lifecycles, track deadlines, communicate with counterparties, and assist with execution
- Work closely with lawyers and senior paralegals, contributing to high-quality client delivery across fast-moving, high-volume matters
- Build commercial and legal expertise over time, with opportunities to take ownership of client accounts and progress towards qualification via the SQE route
About YouWe are looking for someone who:
- Has bachelor's degree in law or equivalent is preferred; prior exposure to NDAs or KYC processes is a plus but not required

SalaryCarta's compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our expected cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is:
- $78,000 - $97,600 CAD in Toronto
We are hiring for multiple levels and locations, so final offers may vary from the amounts listed based on geography, experience and expertise, and other factors.
