This is hands-on, project-based electrical work with a growing team focused on quality installations, practical renewable energy, and safe jobsite execution.
You will work with solar arrays, inverters, wiring, grounding, battery systems, and related electrical components while helping deliver clean energy solutions across B.C.
AT A GLANCE- $40.00-$42.00 per hour, based on experience
- Primary operations in the Revelstoke area for the foreseeable future
- 14-days-on / 7-days-off rotational schedule
- Typical 10-12 hour shifts with overtime guaranteed
- Employer-paid accommodations, LOA covered separately, plus mileage/flights and travel time covered

- Based on a 7-day schedule, gross weekly wages can be approximately $3,400-$4,452 before deductions, before additional LOA, mileage, travel time, and employer-paid accommodations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems connected to solar PV and battery storage projects.
- Connect wiring, breakers, switches, grounding systems, inverters, solar arrays, and battery energy components.
- Read and follow drawings, technical diagrams, code requirements, and site-specific instructions.
- Use electrical testing devices to diagnose issues and complete repairs or replacements safely.
- Work safely at heights, including rooftop solar installations, and follow all required safety procedures.
- Collaborate with other trades, site teams, supervisors, and project leaders to keep work moving efficiently.
- Support apprentices or junior electricians when guidance is needed.
WHAT YOU BRING- Journeyperson Electrician certification/licensing.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, code requirements, drawings, and specifications.
- Confidence using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Fall Protection Certification.
- Comfort working on active construction sites, outdoors, on ladders, and on rooftops.
- Ability to complete hands-on physical work, including lifting and carrying materials and tools as required.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Solar experience is an asset, but a strong electrician with the right attitude and willingness to learn is valuable.
