  • Support AWS cloud resources alongside on-premises infrastructure.
  • Own server patching cycles and remediate security vulnerabilities across Windows and Linux fleets
  • Write and maintain automation using PowerShell, Bash, and Python
  • Build and maintain Ansible playbooks for configuration management across Windows and Linux
  • Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation and deployment
  • Design and maintain infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and self-healing automation
  • Administer PAM and credential-vaulting solutions (e.g., Devolutions Server)

  • Leverage the Microsoft Graph API for identity and M365 automation tasks

  • Support server hardware (Supermicro, Dell, Nutanix), including firmware, diagnostics, and lifecycle management
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours infrastructure support and incident response
  • Mentors and provides guidance to systems administrators and junior staff
  • Contributes to safe, fair, and secure elections for the citizens of Georgia
  • Perform other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

  • Solid understanding of server patching processes and vulnerability remediation
  • Experience with PAM and credential-vaulting solutions
  • Working knowledge of web/TLS certificate management, including certificate chains, PKI trust hierarchies, and providers such as Let's Encrypt and Cloudflare.
  • Strong documentation, design, and technical writing skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for cross-team work
  • Ability to manage multiple high-impact projects with minimal supervision

SUPERVISION REQUIREMENTS:

This position has no direct reports but may serve as a technical lead and mentor for systems administrators and contractors.
