Full Job Description
In this Role

In this role, you will provide hands-on IT support and procurement services for a fast-paced game development studio. You will work closely with studio leadership, directors, and technical teams to understand IT needs, resolve support issues, manage hardware and software resources, and ensure technology is available and operating efficiently. You will oversee PC hardware procurement, setup, recycling, inventory management, user account administration, and technical support for internal and partner teams. You will also contribute to lab and project work, including supporting machines used for automated testing, working with Azure-based services, maintaining technical documentation, and using scripting to improve IT processes and troubleshooting. The role requires strong communication, organization, technical problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in an onsite environment.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with studio management, directors, and technical leads to understand and address IT-related business and operational needs.
  • Procure, configure, deploy, maintain, and recycle PC hardware and related equipment.
  • Respond to IT service requests, repairs, upgrades, technical questions, support issues, and user inquiries.
  • Manage PC hardware, parts, and equipment inventory.
  • Perform user account administration and access management.
  • Provide internal IT support and support partner teams involved in game development.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolution to support requests.
  • Support PCs and Azure-based services to help maintain efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Work with lab machines supporting automated testing and related project activities.
  • Collaborate with broader IT organizations to apply best practices and address technical concerns.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation and provide monthly reporting on completed work and upcoming projects.
  • Prioritize quality, timeliness, customer satisfaction, and effective communication when resolving support requests.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of professional IT experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an IT procurement-focused position.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft services such as Azure Active Directory and Azure DevOps.
  • 3+ years of technical experience supporting and troubleshooting IT issues.
  • 3+ years of experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Experience with a scripting language such as Python, C#, or PowerShell.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite and support specialized equipment, facilities, and technical environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in a game development studio or gaming environment.
  • Stronger hands-on experience with Python scripting.
  • Experience supporting multiple operating systems.
  • Degree or formal education in Information Technology or a related technical field.
  • Experience working with PCs, lab environments, automated testing machines, or specialized technical equipment.
  • Experience supporting technical teams in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong organization and documentation skills, with the ability to maintain clear and well-structured technical records.

This is a fully onsite role (5 days/week)
