The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) (NH-2210-03) to work for the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Provide technical leadership, program support, and strategic guidance for cyber, information technology (IT), and information/knowledge management (IM) activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that technology solutions support current and future mission requirements while complying with applicable legal, regulatory, Air Force, and Department of Defense (DoD) requirements.

This position requires a strong understanding of IT systems, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, technology integration, project management, and process improvement. The selected candidate will work closely with leadership, program and project managers, technical teams, customers, contractors, and partner organizations to identify requirements, solve complex problems, improve processes, and deliver effective technology solutions.

This position is not approved for remote, however situational telework may be considered.

This position has been designated as a Non-Critical Acquisition Position and is covered by the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP). The selectee must meet, or be capable of achieving the APDP certification as designated on the position description within the defined grace period for that certification level after assignment. This position also requires the employee to engage in acquisition continuous learning activities achieving 80 Continuous Learning points every 24 months.

KSAs:

IT Leadership Program Management: Expert knowledge of IT planning, assessment, development, implementation, operations, maintenance, resource management, scheduling, cost control, and contractor oversight. Experience as a Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) is highly desirable.

Program Project Oversight: Ability to manage multiple IT projects, coordinate schedules and deliverables, and support life-cycle management and program governance.

Requirements Technology Management: Ability to identify, analyze, translate, and manage functional and infrastructure requirements and evaluate technology solutions against mission and business needs.

Stakeholder Customer Engagement: Ability to build effective relationships with customers, leadership, technical teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Strategic Decision-Making: Ability to understand organizational missions, establish priorities, lead change, make informed decisions, and achieve timely, high-quality, and cost-effective results.

Technical Policy Analysis: Ability to assess complex technology environments, develop or revise policies, identify system enhancements, and provide technical and cost analyses through written reports and senior-level briefings.

Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT II or III certification and CISSP are highly desired.
