You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the MANPOWER & ADMINISTRATIVE DEPARTMENT, FIELD SUPPORT ACTIVITY of FLDSUPPACT.

Duties

Help

• You will operate with minimal supervision, independently handle highly complex assignments, adapt established practices to non-routine problems, and make decisions impacting command-wide IT programs.
• You will plan, direct, and control the implementation, sustainment, and lifecycle management of information systems and IT equipment.
• You will lead IT governance, cybersecurity, and compliance efforts in accordance with Department of War and Department of the Navy policy.
• You will guide enterprise data management, analytics, and decision-support capabilities by improving data quality, accessibility, interoperability, and visualization across manpower, financial, and administrative systems.

• This is a Cyber Workforce position, work role code Program Manager, proficiency level Intermediate. The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
• This is a Cyber Workforce position, work role code Cyber Policy and Strategy Planner, proficiency level Intermediate. The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and DON policies.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

1) Engaging the knowledge of advanced Cybersecurity frameworks and federal data security mandates.

2) Possessing skills in executing complex IT Systems Analysis to transition networks into secure cloud environments.

3) Applying the ability to lead IT Forensics Operations to rapidly identify, contain, and report cyber breaches.

4) Exercising advanced problem-solving and written communication skills to evaluate technology contracts and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
