Position Overview

Under limited supervision, provides direct business support for enterprise applications. Assists in the
analysis, design, integration, adaptation, and testing of new and existing system applications to support
organizational business objectives. Utilize expertise in business and technical best practices to positively
support and impact current business practices. Test various applications developed with different
programming languages and supported on different platforms.
• Understand, document, and adhere to test processes, workflows, and procedures.
• Work closely with project managers, system owners, developers, database administrators, and other
test engineers to identify acceptance criteria for systems under test.
• Understand the software development lifecycle with a firm grasp on Agile Development processes.
• Responsible for designing, building, executing, and documenting the results of automated tests.
• Assist business users by orchestrating and building reports of user acceptance testing.
• Identify and report on system deficiencies and/or potential for enhancements found while performing
system tests.
• Familiar with programming logic and structure, in particular SQL, JavaScript, HTML and .Net.
• Support traceability of testing documentation through to QA; assisting in the definition of test plans,
testing strategies and in the creation of test cases.
• Create or review manuals, procedures, and related documentation regarding testing.
• Present testing results in a concise and focused manner.
• Serve as a lead and mentor for other members of the testing team.
• Maintains knowledge of and demonstrates adherence to testing standards and practices.
• Maintains knowledge of and demonstrates ability to perform work safely in accordance with all
approved safety policies, procedures and applicable regulations and performs assigned duties in a
safe manner
• Actively participates in Safety Work Groups

Working Conditions

Work in an office at a normal environmental restoration atmosphere (outdated and/or abandoned facilities or industrial field environments). May also work at off-project sites representing the organization at various types of locations throughout the community for business purposes. Potential exposure to equipment movement hazards, dangerous chemicals/solvents or hazardous and radioactive materials if proper safety procedures are not followed.
Ability to perform sedentary to light work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally (any exertion of force/lifting greater than 45 pounds requires usage of a two person "buddy system"), non-repetitive, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly, repetitive; performing such activities as lifting, lowering, carrying, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, grasping, kneeling, stooping, reaching.
Ability to perform primary office duties including heavy computer usage.
In some cases, radiological training may be required.
