Full Job Description
Job Summary

At Getty Digital, we're re-imagining how we can use data, software, and systems to provide a seamless and welcoming experience for Getty visitors, both on-site and online. This position plays a central role in this effort by managing complex technical projects to advance Getty's work. This is a three-year limited term position.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced professional to join the Portfolio Project Management Office (PPMO) team within Getty Digital for a limited term employment of three years. This position reports to the PPMO Manager and works closely with the Digital Visitor Experience Director, project leads, and staff from across the organization, including product managers, engineers, and subject-matter experts to implement innovative solutions that address our user and business needs (cross organizational interface at the leadership level).

This role will support an evolving constellation of projects that support an enterprise-wide initiative to improve the visitor experience from first click to lifelong relationship. Inaugural projects for this position will include Digital Signage, improvements to fundraising systems, and projects at the intersection of getty.edu and web applications that help people engage with Getty online and on-site. In partnership with project leads, the project manager will help structure and run projects from start to finish, from discovery through implementation. Activities will include coordinating sequencing, supporting alignment discussions and governance activities, managing vendor contracts, and guiding and managing steering and working groups. The project manager is a key role that ensures project teams have what they need to move work forward. Getty is dedicated to furthering the study of the history of art, advancing conservation practice, and promoting public knowledge and appreciation of art. Our dynamic and beautiful campus is filled with art, archives and special collections, and a world-class research library. We offer four weeks of accrued vacation a year, every other Friday off, and excellent benefits. Learn more about our benefits.
