Job Description

The Opportunity

Lead the development and delivery of organizational change management (OCM) plans for major IT projects and communication, and act as the day-to-day owner of WSP IT's enterprise communication channels - drop-ins, internal town halls, the IT SharePoint site, the Viva Engage page and the IT inbox. The role ensures a consistent, audience-tailored IT voice across the organization and supports adoption of major IT initiatives.

Your Impact

OCM & Communication plans for major IT projects
  • Build and execute end-to-end communication and OCM plans for major IT projects, in partnership with project managers, IT Business Partners and sponsors.
  • Conduct stakeholder and change-impact analyses; define audiences, key messages, channels, and cadences.
  • Develop change and adoption materials (FAQs, talking points, executive briefings, training support, readiness assessments).

IT communications calendar
  • Maintain the consolidated IT communications calendar across major IT projects.
  • Ensure alignment between project milestones, regional considerations, audiences and channels; flag conflicts and propose sequencing.

Drop-ins and town halls
  • Coordinate and manage IT drop-in sessions and town halls across regions and time zones (planning, agenda, speaker prep, run-of-show, logistics, follow-up notes).
  • Capture key points and action items; publish recaps to the appropriate channels.

IT channels ownership
  • Own and maintain the IT SharePoint site: content updates, governance, navigation, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the IT Viva Engage community: publishing calendar, moderation, member engagement and reporting.
  • Manage the IT inbox: triage incoming requests, respond or route to the right team, and report on volume and recurring themes.
  • Manage the IT pages of the corporate portal and ensure the strategy and planning of IT communications across the organization.

Performance & continuous improvement
  • Track and report on communication and adoption KPIs (reach, engagement, sentiment, NPS-related signals where applicable).
  • Manage and coordinate the development and execution of the biannual IT NPS survey.
  • Recommend continuous improvements to channels, content and processes.
  • Ensure consistency with the WSP IT brand and the unified IT voice.

The skills that set you apart
  • 5+ years of specialization in internal communications, change management or OCM, ideally in an IT or transformation environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading communication and OCM plans for large or enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience managing SharePoint, Viva Engage (or equivalent enterprise social platform), TEAMS and shared mailboxes.
  • Strong writing and editing skills in English
  • Solid understanding of OCM methodologies (Prosci / ADKAR or equivalent).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, PowerPoint, Forms, Viva Engage).
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple time zones with global stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Bilingualism (English-French) because the individual will frequently be involved with English-speaking partners internationally.
