Compensation: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 annually depending on experience and alignment with the roleAbout the RoleWe're looking for an IT Manager who is equally at home fixing a laptop and building a security awareness training program. This is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground role and the primary IT resource for everyone at Clearly Filtered. You'll own end-user support, device and systems management, IT security and compliance, and employee training, and you'll work closely with our Data & Technology team on anything that requires deeper technical architecture. The right person is organized, responsive, and self-directed. You receive high-level direction and figure out the rest yourself!
*This is an onsite position based in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. Candidates should only apply if they are able to work onsite 4 days per week.What You'll DoEnd-User IT Support- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues quickly and effectively
- Support all company equipment including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and accessories
- Manage user accounts, permissions, password resets, and access requests across all platforms
- Assist with new hire equipment setup and configuration
- Support conference room AV and onsite technology needs
- Maintain a help desk process for tracking and resolving support requests
Systems & Asset Management- Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware, software licenses, and peripherals
- Own the full employee technology lifecycle from provisioning through offboarding
- Administer company software platforms including user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access management
- Keep all software and operating systems current with patches and updates
- Manage IT vendor relationships for hardware, software, and services
IT Security & Compliance- Develop, maintain, and enforce IT security policies covering acceptable use, device security, and data handling
- Manage endpoint security including antivirus, MDM, and device encryption
- Own access control and identity management across all company systems
- Monitor for security threats and respond when issues arise
- Support compliance requirements and conduct periodic security audits
- Maintain data backup and business continuity processes
IT Training & Enablement- Deliver IT onboarding for all new hires covering systems, equipment, and security expectations
- Build and maintain an IT resource library of how-to guides and FAQs
- Lead annual company-wide security awareness training including phishing simulations
- Educate employees on security threats and best practices in plain, accessible language
What You BringRequired- 4+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related role
- Hands-on experience supporting a Mac environment including hardware troubleshooting, software configuration, and network support
- Experience managing a Google Workspace including configuring permissions, services, spam filtering, and DNS
- Experience managing user accounts, permissions, and access across cloud-based SaaS platforms such as Monday.com, Shopify, or similar
- Experience with physical networking infrastructure including cabling, hardware management, AP placement, and software management
- Familiarity with MDM platforms for device management and endpoint security
- Working knowledge of IT security principles including access control, data protection, and security awareness
- Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
- Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to work occasional nights and weekends as business needs require
Preferred- Familiarity with IT compliance frameworks
- Experience building or formalizing IT policies, onboarding programs, or security training from scratch
- Experience administering or supporting Meraki network infrastructure
- Experience supporting a hybrid or remote workforce
