Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the Mainframe Systems team to ensure availability, stability, and operational efficiency of enterprise infrastructure.
- Oversee z/OS administration, hardware configurations, performance optimization, and disaster recovery planning.
- Monitor system performance and capacity, performing regular planning and enhancement recommendations.
- Manage projects related to hardware/software upgrades, infrastructure modernization, and enterprise support initiatives.
- Ensure software updates, security standards, and emerging technologies are integrated effectively.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments on procurement, infrastructure planning, and support activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, system configurations, and operational standards.
- Provide 24/7 support for scheduled maintenance, incident resolution, and critical production systems.
- Contribute to fiscal planning for hardware/software lifecycle and infrastructure investments.
Top Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus 4+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or data center operations; or 8+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
- At least 12 years of experience managing enterprise infrastructure, including mainframe environments, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support.
- Extensive experience supporting IBM z/OS systems, enterprise storage, and complex infrastructure projects.
