IT Field Services Director Requisition #: 680566 Location: Philadelphia, PA, US Career Area: Corporate + Field Support Information at a Glance Job Description The IT Director I is responsible for the coordination and management of a portfolio of assigned information technology projects and execution of the IT strategy in support of the business goals and objectives. This role will be tasked with owning the implementation of technology projects in alignment with the business-critical initiatives, serving as a liaison between the IT functional and technical groups and the sector's business teams, and working with clients to deliver the IT value proposition and nurture innovation in the business through technology. Job Responsibilities • Work with Aramark sector management to identify, scope, plan and execute IT projects crafted to realize the business objectives outlined in the overall strategic plan. • Work with the IT Center of Excellence teams to articulate the needs and priorities of the sector's businesses, ensuring resources are demonstrated sufficiently to deliver on the business commitments and initiatives. • Develop relationships with Aramark field operations, senior management, and client personnel to find opportunities for innovation, assessing and understanding the impact of Aramark technology solutions, and lead the execution of the project life cycle with focus on consistent processes, methods and practices required for all business projects and within the project management framework outlined by the AVP of IT. • Attend all assigned project meetings and field surveys connected with assigned projects and providing meeting recaps and action items to the project team, corporate management teams, and vendor and client teams as required for the orderly flow of activity connected with projects. • Coordinate with the assigned projects business sponsor to understand the project's desired business value, impact and required deliverables. • Participate in the project team assembly and lead the activities of a cross-functional project team to insure timely execution of all implementation activities. • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project activities for all internal and external collaborators. Qualifications • Requires between 5 to 7+ years of experience in a formal Information Technology role or confirmed experience in working with technology solutions or strategy in a hospitality business • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Experience in project management, business process analysis, or advanced business intelligence or analytics is preferred. • Strong oral, written communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate at all levels within the organization • Excellent relationship building, managerial and teamwork skills.
