Remote, Full Time
Reports to: Head of Data/ITCurrent or future sponsorship is not available for this roleAbout the RoleOver the past three years, we have built a data platform from the ground up, one that now connects critical source systems, powers reporting across the organization, and serves as a foundation for enterprise decision-making. We are seeking a senior technical leader to assume primary ownership of this infrastructure. This is a high-visibility, high-autonomy position within a lean, deliberate team, offering direct influence over the platform's reliability, scalability, and strategic direction. The scope of ownership is comprehensive: from data ingestion via source systems including NetSuite and SAP HANA, through structured transformation layers built in dbt, to the governed Snowflake models that drive Power BI reporting across the business each day. The ideal candidate brings not only the technical depth to maintain and evolve a production-grade platform, but the operational mindset to anticipate issues before they surface and the accountability to own outcomes when they do.
What You Will Work OnThis role carries end-to-end ownership of a production data platform that directly supports executive and operational decision-making across the business. Platform Ownership: Oversee the full data lifecycle, from ingestion across ERP, CRM, HR, and on-premises systems, through a structured dbt transformation layer, to governed delivery via Snowflake. You are accountable for the reliability and integrity of everything that flows through it. Data Architecture & Modeling: Design and evolve the organization's core data structures, including facts, dimensions, and business-ready marts. Lead the expansion of our Finance EDW as new planning and financial data sources are integrated, ensuring the foundation scales with business complexity. Operational Excellence: Maintain platform health through disciplined pipeline monitoring, proactive alerting, and a formal data quality framework spanning ingestion through transformation. Manage schema drift, incremental load performance, and warehouse cost optimization as ongoing operational priorities. Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with Finance, Sales, and Operations leadership to translate business reporting requirements into reliable, governed data products. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, contributing to team capability over time.

About the TeamOur data team is small and our work has direct impact on how the business makes decisions. We are in a period of transition migrating from SAP to NetSuite, rebuilding trust in our data, and modernizing our platform. The person who takes this role will help shape what our data function looks like over the next few years. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and genuinely cares about the quality of the data products they ship.
