Qualifications

• 4+ years of medical device/med tech engineering experience
• Design control/process validation expertise
• Knowledge of Design for Six Sigma and Risk Management techniques
• Familiarity with transcatheter heart valve manufacturing/biomaterials preferred
• Bachelor's degree in engineering required
• 5+ years of experience in a regulated engineering production environment
• 3+ years of leadership experience in the same environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering performance and employee responsibilities
• Participate in lean daily management and support relevant metrics
• Drive plant performance through relevant KPI establishment
• Coordinate engineering activities for product development and validation
• Ensure operational readiness for new product implementation
• Collaborate with planning and production to meet goals on-time
• Mentor staff and provide performance management feedback
• Develop engineering process controls for predictable outcomes
• Cultivate a continuous improvement safety culture
• Support problem-solving activities for assigned areas
