Full Job Description
Irregular Warfare Policy Advisor The Opportunity: Provides policy advice on irregular warfare with an emphasis on the USCENTCOM area of operations (AOR). Applies extensive writing expertise and advanced briefing skills to executive-level clients, and full knowledge of DoW. Prepares principals for bilateral or multilateral engagements with international partners, DoW executives, and interagency leaders. Operate with high autonomy, executing complex tasks and making sound decisions with minimal supervision. You Have: • 3+ years of experience with senior DoW Policy, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, and Theater Special Operations Commands • Experience in policy, planning, and operations within the CENTCOM AOR • Experience drafting materials for senior executive leadership, including read-aheads and talking points for bilateral and multilateral international policy-level engagements • Experience with experimentation such as wargame planning or exercise planning • Knowledge of senior DoW Policy processes and culture • TS/SCI clearance • Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: • Experience preparing and briefing DOW senior leaders for policy-level engagements. • Experience serving as the lead action officer for trips accompanying senior level executives for international or domestic engagements • Experience with supporting Congressional engagements • Ability to advise executives on significant security cooperation initiatives • Knowledge of DOW-level planning processes • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills • Master's degree in International Relations or Political Science Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
