International Logistics Supply Chain Manager

What you will enjoy doing*

  • Serve as the key interface between Materials Management, Procurement, Customer Service, Production Plants, and
  • Logistics to coordinate exports, equipment refills, and complex overseas deliveries
  • You will coordinate timely delivery of imported raw materials, supporting production and revenue goals, and develop a global freight forwarder network for import transitions
  • Facilitate communication between freight forwarders, vendors overseas, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations
  • You will provide delivery updates and schedule changes on critical shipments to Materials Management, Procurement, Customer Service, and Production Plants
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Procurement to drive operational excellence, reduce costs, and mitigate risks in third-party customs brokerage and logistics services
  • Work with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to execute import/export transport for urgent deliveries in compliance with regulations and company guidelines
  • You are expected to make decisions on prioritizing deliveries, consolidations, transportation modes, and route changes to ensure timely and cost-effective shipments
  • Maintain export/import trackers, manage SAP inputs for purchase orders, obtain freight quotes, audit invoices, prepare logistics cost reports, and lead corrective actions for demurrage and detention issues
