Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain bulk gas supply systems as per company standards.
  • Work on small on-site plants, food freezing equipment, and piping installations, supporting sales activities.
  • Utilize pipe and gas fitting expertise to safely install, modify, and maintain gas systems.
  • Read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to plan and execute work accurately.
  • Apply knowledge of cryogenic equipment in system installation and servicing.
  • Perform welding and brazing tasks to support system installation and repairs.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with electronic and computer-operated controls and instrumentation.
  • Manage on-site contractors and coordinate project delivery to meet deadlines and budgets.

Field Service Technician (full time)

Reporting to the Central Region Customer Service Manager, the Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation and maintenance of bulk gas supply systems. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to work on small on-site plants, food freezing equipment and piping installation and sales.

What you will enjoy doing*

  • You will report to the Central Region Customer Service Manager and be responsible for the installation and maintenance of bulk gas supply systems
  • Work on small on-site plants, food freezing equipment, and piping installation, including supporting related sales activities
  • Utilize your knowledge of pipe and gas fitting to install, modify, and maintain gas systems safely and efficiently
  • In addition, you will read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings to plan and execute work accurately
  • Apply basic knowledge of cryogenic equipment in the installation and servicing of systems
  • Perform welding and brazing tasks as required to support system installation and repair is part of your role
  • Troubleshoot electronic and computer-operated controls and instrumentation to diagnose and resolve issues
  • You will manage contractors on-site and coordinate project objectives to ensure work is completed on time, on budget, and to Linde's standards

  • Ability to work independently and service a territory with minimal or no direct supervision
  • Physically able to perform work in a predominantly outdoor environment and lift up to 60 pounds
  • Also, you have demonstrated effective interpersonal and job-related communication skills, strong safety awareness, and a professional image aligned with the position's dress code


This is an existing position with a hourly starting wage of $47.19.
